Pakistan Navy ship Khaibar visits Saudi port

JEDDAH – Pakistan Navy’s guided missile destroyer PNS Khaibar paid a goodwill visit at Jeddah port to further strengthen ties between Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Force.

The commanding officer of the ship called on the Western Fleet Commander Adm. Saeed Al Zahrani in a meeting where further strengthening of bilateral ties and inter-organizational procedures was discussed. The commanding officer reiterated that Saudi Arabia has always been a second home for Pakistan Navy.

Pakistan Navy’s Khaibar ship visited Jeddah from Aug. 21-25 to further boost relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The visit featured training of ship’s officers and men on Damage Control & Fire Fighting at the RSNF training school a facility just recently commissioned and featuring state of the art equipment. Upon the departure of the ship RSNF ship HMS Boraida conducted Passage Exercises while bidding farewell to the ship.

Saudi Western Fleet Commander also said the visit will further strengthen relations between Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Forces.
