Pakistan and Saudi military chiefs discuss defense collaboration

Saudi Arabia assures Pakistan of its full support in improving regional cooperation, peace and stability

Pakistan and Saudi Arabian military chiefs discussed defence and security and military to military cooperation as well as matters of mutual interest, regional security situation including Afghan peace process.

Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa is currently on a four-day visit to the Kingdom ahead of Prime Minis­ter Imran Khan’s visit scheduled to KSA from May 7-9.

During his visit, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) held a detailed meeting with Saudi Armed Forces’ Chief of General Staff General Fayiadh Bin Hamed Al Rowaily in Riyadh on May 5.

Pakistan Army Chief emphasized the need to further enhance military to military cooperation between the two armed forces and said that Pakistan-KSA cooperation will have a positive impact on peace and security in the region.

Saudi Arabia assured Pakistan of its support in its initiatives for regional peace and stability.
