Pakistan Railways kicks off Kashmir solidarity campaign

Posters and banners will be exhibited at Greenline Train, Tezgam Express, Khyber Mail and Jafar Express Train

The Pakistan Railways has decided to celebrate Kashmir Solidarity Day at power vans of its four trains as the expression of solidarity with Kashmiri people.

This was announced by Pakistan railway spokesperson while talking to news special posters regarding rights of Kashmiri people and Indian atrocities in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir will be displayed on four trains.

The total size of the posters is 4 by 8 feet and CD on these will be shown on all closed circuits of stations during the next five days.

These banners and posters will display in all Pakistan railway trains including Greenline Train, Tezgam Express, Khyber Mail and Jafar Express Train.

Along with this Special videos about Kashmir’s struggle against India will also be played at all big stations from February 1-including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Noshehra, Lalamusa, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Sakhar, Rohri, Nawabshah, Karachi, Haiderabad, Sibbi and Quetta.

Kashmir Solidarity Day is a public holiday in Pakistan and it focuses on showing Pakistan’s support and unity with the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, their ongoing freedom struggle, and to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs who lost their lives fighting for Kashmir’s freedom.

The State of Pakistan will observe a one-minute silence at 10 is on February 5 in a show of solidarity with the people of Kashmir in their struggle for freedom from India.

The people of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) will mark the occasion by forming a human chain of hands to show their support for their brothers and sisters across the border.

Conferences, demonstrations and events related to the day are being planned in cities across the country, which will shed light on the atrocities committed by Indian troops to sabotage the Kashmiri struggle for freedom over the past seven decades.
