Pakistani movie ‘Parwaz Hai Junoon’ to be screened in China

‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’ is the first Pakistani movie releasing in China after 40 years

Pakistani blockbuster film ‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’, featuring Hamza Ali Abbasi, will now be released in China after doing enormous business in Saudi Arabia.

The film will be screened in more than 50,000 cinema houses in China.

The contract was signed between producer Momina Duraid and Mr Wang Ye of Fire International Media. The signing was part of Pakistan China Trade and Investment Forum – part of the BRF which is being held in Beijing. Present on the occasion were Mr Razzaq Dawood, advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Mr Duraid Qureshi, CEO HUM Network Limited.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon, starring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Kubra Khan and Hania Amir in lead, was released last year with a bang. The story of the movie is based on the lives of Pakistan Air Force officers. The movie is a roller coaster ride of emotions and patriotism.

Parwaaz Hai Junoon was the first Pakistani film that was released commercially in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia and has become the first Pakistani film after 40 years to be commercially released across mainland China.
