Air Chief’s speech PAF at Air War College Convocation inspires graduates

Graduates from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Nigeria, Bangladesh and South Africa also awarded degrees at convocation of No 29 Air War Course

KARACHI – The Convocation at PAF Air War College celebrated success of officers from Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy, as well as the graduates from 10 friendly countries including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Nigeria, Bangladesh and South Africa.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of the Pakistan Air Force presided over the Convocation ceremony of No 29 Air War Course held at PAF Air War College, Faisal.

The CAS congratulated the graduating officers on successful completion of the course. He expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills acquired at the Air War College would assist the participants to effectively contribute towards the requirements of National Security.

“Pakistan Air Force places highest premium on quality training which is inevitable for achieving excellence – one of the core values of PAF. Our training institutions have been contributing immensely to prepare PAF personnel to cope up with future challenges in a confident and professional manner” the Air Chief said.

Earlier Air Vice Marshal Pirzada Kamaluddin Ahmed Siddiqui, Commandant Air War College presented the course report. The ceremony was also attended by various high ranking civil and military officers and diplomats from different countries.

Admiring the excellent performance of student, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said, “As senior military professionals, you must remain abreast of the contemporary geo-political and strategic environment; which not only has a deep impact on the overall security calculus, but its sound understanding also facilitates better preparedness and timely response to emerging threats. Air War College has prepared you well to assimilate new ideas, trends, and innovation in domains of doctrine, strategy and air power employment alongside exposing you to important dimensions of cyber, media and space.”

PAF Air War College is the premier institution of Pakistan Air Force, where mid-level officers of Pakistan Armed Forces and friendly countries are prepared for the assumption of key Command and Staff appointments.
