Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are busy promoting their forthcoming film “Dilwale”.
To promote Dilwale film in Pakistan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are all set to appear on two Pakistani morning shows: Jago Pakistan Jago (hosted by Sanam for Hum TV) and Sitaray Ki Subha (hosted by Shaista for Hum Sitaray).
“Yes it’s happening,” a Hum TV source told us. “It’s confirmed. Sanam will host SRK and Kajol on her morning show for the promotion of Dilwale. The show will be recorded in Dubai on either Saturday or Sunday.”
The entire cast of Dilwale flew to Dubai for the promotion of their upcoming film where Sanam and Shaista recorded special episodes with the stars for their morning shows.
The Jago Pakistan Jago episode with #Dilwale‘s Cast (Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon) will be on air on 17th Dec at 9am. Sanam had a great of a time with her guests, she even learned a few dance steps from Varun.
Shaista resented a Pathani Pishawari koti to Shah Rukh a traditionally etched couture to Kajol, an ajrak and a Sindhi topi to Varun, and a Sindhi koti to Kriti as gifts.
Shah Rukh and Kajol have chosen to promote their film on Hum TV because Hum Films — the TV network’s film wing — is distributing their movie in Pakistan. The shows are scheduled to be aired on 17th December.
Dilwale will be released in Pakistan on the 18th of December, the same day it’s being released in India. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film also features Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in important roles.
Khan, often described as the king of Bollywood romance, has won legions of fans across the globe for roles that show him as a passionate lover (think Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Om Shanti Om).
Shah Rukh Khan’s special message to his fans in Pakistan
SRK’s crazy fan following in Pakistan compelled him to make a video to reach out to his fans there before the release of Dilwale. This is his message for Pakistani fans:
“Hi, everybody, I am Shah Rukh Khan, sabhi Pakistaniyon ko mera salaam. This December, our film Dilwale is coming to a theatre near you, a film that you’re all awaiting eagerly. I hope you all really like this film kyunki Dilwale jaise koi nahin.” The actor’s sweet message has added to the excitement for the film across the border.
