Floating villas will have three floors with underwater master bedroom
DUBAI (United Arab Emirates) – Dubai continues on the path of being one of most innovative cities in the planet with its latest project. “The Floating Seahorse” may be one of the most advanced concepts yet. Designed by Dubai developer Kleindienst Group, the stunning rendering was presented at the Dubai International Boat Show in March 2015.
“The Floating Seahorse” is essentially a boat without propulsion, but has three floors and plenty of amenities. “Every minute of the day you will be surprised with the many colourful fishes you see,” said Josef Kleindienst, chairman of Kleindienst Group.

This apartment complex will consist of 42 villas, each of which will offer 1,700 square feet of floor area over 3 levels, with the lower level being under water.
The upper level will have a shower, kitchenette, mini bar, and Jacuzzi, and will feature a glass floor. The centre floor will have a large living space, kitchen, and dining area. The master bedroom and bathroom will be completely submerged, with breathtaking panoramic views.
Each unit has a floor area of approximately 1,700 square feet. All levels will be made of glass from floor to ceiling. It will actually be like living in a fancy aquarium.
The developers are planning to create an artificial coral reef beneath them to help protect endangered seahorses.
Each villa has a price tag of approximately USD 1.8 billion (AED 6.6 billion / GBP 123 million). The first tenants will move into their new homes in 2017.
The Tzar Edition of The Floating Seahorse is the third phase of Seahorses available at The Heart of Europe. The Tzar Edition will be located on St Petersburg Island which is designed in the shape of a heart and takes inspiration from The Maldives. St Petersburg Island will be a charming vacation retreat, home to white sandy beaches, a large infinity pool, shallow lagoons, lush tropical gardens and an exclusive restaurant and bar.
