Dubai to celebrate 77th ‘Pakistan Day’ with a lavish LED light show

Dubai’s Burj Khalifa – world’s tallest building- will be lit up with the colours of Pakistani national flag Thursday (23 March 2017) evening to celebrate Pakistan Day.

This patriotic light show will mean a great a deal to some 1.2 million Pakistanis living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with around 400,000 in Dubai alone.

“Tonight we celebrate Pakistan’s 77th Republic Day with a spectacular LED illumination of Pakistan National flag at 7:15pm,” the skyscraper’s Twitter account said.

According to Khaleej Times, the skyscraper will be celebrating 77th ‘Pakistan Day’ with a lavish LED light show announced on official Burj Khalifa Twitter account.

The world’s tallest building will light up with the colours of the Pakistani flag, and feature a five-rayed star in its centre with a white stripe.

The illuminated displays will take place at 7.15pm (Dubai Time) and 9.15pm on Thursday March 23.
