Nano cricketing has taken a number of shapes over the years, but 10-over per side Cricket league will surly amaze cricket fans.

United Arab Emirates all set to host a unique cricket tournament titled T10 Cricket League featuring well-known international players.

The new T-10 Cricket League backed by Emirates Cricket Board officially announced in Dubai on 3rd October and has gained approval from the International Cricket Council.

The T-10 cricket tournament has received support from former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi, former captain Misbah-ul-Haq, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, Bangladesh Test all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and England ODI captain Eoin Morgan.

The six-team, 13-match T10 Cricket League featuring six ‘icon’ players will be staged at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium from December 21 to 25.

The icon’ players include Shahid Afridi, Virender Sehwag, Kumar Sangakkara, Shakib Al Hasan, Eoin Morgan and West Indian opener Chris Gayle.

T-10 Cricket League will feature eight subcontinental themed franchises: Team Punjabis, Team Pakhtoons, Team Maratha, Team Banglas, Team Lankans, Team Sindhis and Team Keralites.

Team Pakhtoons Owners isHabib Khan and Tajuddin Khan and Key player is Shahid Afridi, Maratha Arabians Owners is Indian showbiz star Sohail Khan, Ali Tumbi, Parvez Khan and Key player is Virender Sehwag.

Bangla Tigers Owners is Shirajuddin Alam, Yasin Choudhary, Neelesh Bhatnager, Anis and Rizwan Sajan and expected Key player to be Shakib Al Hasan. While, Kerala Kings Owners is Hussain Adam Ali, Shafi Ul Mulk and Key player is Eoin Morgan.

Shahid Afridi said he is “very excited” to play in such a brief format. “When Pakhtoons franchise owner Habib Khan came to me tell me about this, I said ‘Please, let me play in this format’,” Afridi said.
