ISLAMABAD: In the wake of heated debate over judicial commission’s report, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has decided not to attend National Assembly session on monday, Samaa reported.
this is first session of the house since the inquiry commission issued its report on Wednesday, clearing the government from allegations of rigging in 2013 general election levelled by Imran Khan.
Sources said the ruling clique is likely to table a resolution against Khan in today’s session, where PTI lawmakers are expected to come up with a resolution against members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
If the resolution was tabled by the treasury bench, sources said, the lawmakers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) would support the ruling party.-SAMAA NEWS
