iPhone X is loaded with new features that consumers will probably love

Yesterday, Apple has unveiled its most waited smartphones iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X formally pronounced iPhone 10.

The Californian smartphones firm unleashed the brand new product at a glittering ceremony held in its new “spaceship” headquarters.

iPhone X, which has been called the future of the smartphone, in a gorgeous all-glass design with a beautiful 5.8-inch Super Retina display, A11 Bionic chip, wireless charging and an improved rear camera with dual optical image stabilization.

The iPhone X has a 5.8-inch screen squeezed into a body smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus. Apple said it has been its goal to create “an iPhone that is all display”.

Apple has dropped the iPhone’s iconic home button, which has been present on every device since the first iPhone released in 2007. It has also removed the front-facing fingerprint scanner, which has been adopted by plenty of other leading brands.

iPhone X - Apple’s best phone ever is here

The iPhone X is the first iPhone to come with wireless charging, which is already available on the Apple Watch and rival Samsung Galaxy S8.

Apple will also release a wireless charging pad, called the AirPower that will be able to charge multiple devices at once. It will be released next year

Although, iPhone X won’t come cheap. Apple will release two versions, a 64GB version, which will start at £999, and a more expensive 256GB version for £1,149 – ushering in the era of the £1,000 smartphone.

It will not ship until later this year. The iPhone X will be available for pre-orders on October 27 and be released generally on November 3.

It has a dual-lens rear facing camera and will come in the colours silver and space grey.

Difference between the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X?

The first and most obvious difference is the size of the screens. The iPhone X’s screen covers the whole face while iPhone 8 is more like traditional iPhones with a frame.

The iPhone X’s is higher quality and is the first Apple phone to switch from an IPS LCD display to an OLED display – the same technology used by Samsung to make its “infinity screens”. While iPhone 8 and 8 Plus come with the classic IPS LCD panels.

The camera is also upgraded on the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X but the standard iPhone 8 will have a regular camera, similar to those of its predecessors.

The iPhone X will have an additional exclusive feature, with the upgraded front-facing camera being able to achieve similar effects to the portrait mode on the back camera.

The internal systems for both phones are similar, however they do have different displays.
