Sarfraz awarded luxury BMW SUV in recognition of his services to Pakistan team
There is no doubt that we all love Sarfraz Ahmed for bringing back the memories of ’92 World Cup when Pakistani team shocked the world by winning the World Cup. That 1992 team had legends like Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Saqlain Mushtaq and many others, but today’s story is rather a different one. Legends haven’t existed in the cricketing folds for a long time; they were created on the day Pakistan beat India. Legends brewed glory in the shape of hard work and mystified triumphant runs in sports; Sarfraz and his men did exactly the same when Pakistan beat India to win Champions Trophy 2017. They revived Pakistan cricket in all its glory by defeating the Indian team at Lord’s Cricket Stadium – a site for sore eyes for generations of cricket fans.
Pakistan Cricket Captain and hero of the nation was awarded a gorgeous BMW X1 hatchback in a show titled Geo Khailo Pakistan hosted by cricket stars Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar.
This gift was arranged specially by Ali Jahangir Siddiqui of JS Bank, who later congratulated Pakistan Cricket Team by saying that “We at JS Bank would like to congratulate Pakistan Cricket Team for an ecstatic performance in the Champions Trophy 2017. This is a landmark achievement for our cricketing fantasy and is bound to open new doors towards a promising sporting prospect for our country and eventually for the entire cricketing world. Congratulations Sarfraz, congratulations Pakistan!”
