Malala to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford

Pakistan’s youngest Nobel laureate and schoolgirl activist Malala Yousafzai has secured her admission at the prestigious Oxford University.

The young talented Malala Yousafzai aims to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University.

She revealed that she has chosen Oxford University as her ideal and former Pakistan’s Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto had also taken education from this institution.

Lady Margaret Hall was the first Oxford campus to admit women. Malala Yousafzai went there for an admissions interview last December, which she called “the hardest interview of my life.”

Malala Yousafzai survived an attempted murder by a Taliban gunman in 2012, when she was heading to school. She continued campaigning on the world stage and in 2014 became the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Malala has dedicated her life to defending girls’ rights to education around the world. One of her ambitions is to return to Pakistan and enter politics.

The university has also confirmed her status of admission, “Congratulations! Your place at Oxford University 033 for Philosophy, Politics and Economics L0V0 has been confirmed”.

In a tweet Malala from her twitter account, she informed her fan following about her admission and tweeted, “So excited to go to Oxford!! Well done to all A-level students – the hardest year. Best wishes for life ahead!”
