Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force lauds JF-17 project

Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan during a recently concluded visit to State of Qatar where he held fruitful meetings with Chief of Staff Qatar Armed Forces, General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al-Ghanem and Commander Qatar Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Abdullah Hassan Al-Sulaiti. During his three-day visit to Qatar. Khan also met Major General (Pilot) Salim Hamed Eqail Al-Nabet, Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force at Al-Udaid Air Base.

The Air Chief was received by Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force upon his arrival where a contingent of QEAF presented the Air Chief with the Guard of Honour. During the meetings, various matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation came under discussion. Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force lauded the support provided by the PAF in the training of QEA.

The Chief of Air Staff commended the remarkable operational preparedness of Qatar Emiri Air Force and assured his counterpart of PAF’s full support especially in the domain of training.
Commander Qatari Air Force acknowledged the support of Pakistan Air Force for imparting training to the personnel of Qatar Air Force. He also praised the successful being made in the modernization programs of JF-17 project. Qatar had shown its keen interest in the JF-17 Block II as Pakistan looked forward to search for new markets for its state-of-the-art fighter.
