Pakistan and Turkey set to enhance bilateral cooperation in Agriculture sector

ANKARA (Turkey) — Pakistan and Turkey are set to deepen mutual collaboration in agriculture and livestock sectors by enhancing cooperation in areas of seed development, livestock, agro-based industries, and food processing.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey Sohail Mahmood called on Turkish Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Mr. Mehmet Mehdi Eker at his office in Ankara.

Highlighting the progress being made on ongoing Pakistan-Turkey projects in the agriculture sector, Ambassador Sohail Mahmood said the there are great prospects for enhanced, mutually beneficial collaboration in diverse fields between Pakistan and Turkey. He particularly noted the possibilities in the areas of seed development, livestock, agro-based industries, and food processing.
