Pakistan completely out-classed Indian team with their tremendous bowling and batting performance
Pakistan scripted history on winning first ever ICC Champions Trophy’s final after producing an incredible display to thrash fierce rivals India with comprehensive margin of 180 runs.
Pakistan completely out-classed Indian team in all three-department and pull off a quite remarkable and emphatic Champions Trophy victory. Pakistani players draped in flags celebrated as they walked round the field along with their head-coach Mickey Arthur.
The arch-rivals match has been eagerly waiting ever, where the patriotism level of players as well as spectators comes to its peak.
Earlier, India won the toss and decided to bowl first at The Kennington Oval. Virat kohli at pre match ceremony hoped to keep Pakistan under check and restrict them to a score below 300.
Pakistan’s opening pair Fakhar Zaman and Azhar Ali provided a solid platform and added 128 together for team. Fakhar’s brilliant maiden ton and half-centuries from Azhar Ali and then at the end Mohammad Hafeez powered Pakistan to 338/4 in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy final. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the bowlers with 1/44.
Pakistani bowling attack Mohammad Amir and Shadab Khan’s strikes have put India in all sorts of trouble at The Oval. Yuvraj Singh, who looked set to get a big one, departed for 21 while MS Dhoni also got out cheaply. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed to cross the double-figures mark.
Indian All-rounder Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja showed some resistance and added 80 in less than 10 overs when India’s fate was sealed, had sped to 76 from 43 balls gone run-out a false call by Jadeja.
At the end Pakistan out-classed India with comprehensive win of 180 runs margin. Pakistan Seamers Mohammad Aamir and Hassan Ali got 3 wickets each, Shadab Khan got 2 wickets and one wicket for Junaid Khan.
