Pakistan dispatched a second consignment consisting of items of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine on May 31.

A PAF C-130 aircraft took off for Warsaw, Poland carrying 7.5 tons of relief supplies for the war-stricken people of Ukraine.

The supplies included medicines, food items, electro-medical equipment, tents, blankets, and other items of human needs, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said.

The third consignment of humanitarian assistance is expected to be sent later this week.

“Pakistan has always acted promptly alongside the international community in responding to international calls for assistance during conflicts and calamities as a responsible and peace-loving nation,” the official statement said.

The first batch of humanitarian aid from Pakistan to Ukraine was dispatched in March.
