Pakistan Navy detected and blocked the Indian Submarine on October 16, 2021, from entering into Pakistani waters, the navy’s media wing said on Tuesday.
Pakistan Navy displayed unremitting vigilance and professional competence in detecting and blocking the sub.
It was the third time an Indian submarine had been detected and tracked by the Pakistan Navy’s long-range maritime patrol aircraft.
“During the prevailing security milieu, a strict monitoring watch has been kept by Pakistan Navy to safeguard maritime frontiers of Pakistan,” the navy said.
“The recent incident reflects the deplorable Indian machinations and reaffirmed Pakistan Navy’s resolve and commitment to defend maritime frontiers of the motherland,” the official statement said.
