Pakistan Navy wins the Naval Staff Open Shooting Championship 2015 consecutively the 4th time
KARACHI (Pakistan) – Pakistan Navy team won the 4th Championship title with 27 Gold Medals. The 4th Chief of the Naval Staff Open Shooting Championship 2015 concluded today at Pakistan Navy Shooting Range.
Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest.
This is consecutively the 4th time that Pakistan Navy has clinched the Chief of the Naval Staff Open Shooting Championship 2015 since its inception. Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force stood second and third with 8 and 2 gold medals respectively. Besides, Pakistan Navy; teams of Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan, Federal Rifle Association (FRA), Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Sindh Police also contested the championship.
The Naval Chief while addressing the ceremony, said that shooting as a sport, is getting considerable prominence beyond the military circles at national level as well. He further added that our youth is also forthcoming along with military men to win laurels for our country in the shooting Sport.
Reiterating his belief that our youth possesses the best of abilities and acumen to become good shooters, the Admiral expressed his hope that this event will showcase the talent of aspiring contestants and serve to mobilize their potential at national and international level.
The Naval Chief commended the efforts of organizers for successful conduct of the event and congratulated the winners for adding yet another glorious chapter in Pakistan Navy’s impressive shooting history.

The participating teams included Navy, Army, PAF, Sindh, Baluchistan, Punjab, Sindh Police, FRA and HEC.
