The citizens of listed countries get visas within thirty days of their arrival

Pakistan government has announced visa-free entry for the tourist groups from twenty-four countries in a bid to increase and promote tourism in the country.

According to Governments officials, Group Tourist Visa on Arrival is being issued to international tourists if they get their tours organized through any of the designated tour operators in Pakistan.

The citizens of the below given countries can avail visas immediately within thirty days of their arrival with multiple entries allowed.

The Group Tourist Visas on Arrival included 24 countries which are United  States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, China, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Korea , Luxembourg , Malaysia , Netherlands , Norway , Portugal , Singapore , Spain  and Thailand.

However, in order to get this exciting offer, the tour needs to be organized by designated tour operators approved by the Pakistan government in the country.

The concerned tour operator will also submit the undertaking to the effect that the tourists will be their responsibility and that they will not illegally overstay beyond the validity of the visa.

Whenever you finalized the tour operator, rest of the work will be done by them. The operator will provide all your required documents along with an undertaking to FIA immigration office.

According to the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report 2017 released by the World Economic Forum, the direct contribution of travel and tourism to Pakistan’s GDP in 2015 was US$ 328.3 million, constituting 2.8% of the total GDP.

The 2017 World Economic Forum’s Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report (TTCR) ranked Pakistan 125th out of 136 countries, low branding and marketing effectiveness and low priority the government gave to the travel and tourism industry.
