Pakistan won’t initiate nuclear arms race and the nuclear weapons are only for defensive purposes

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbas during his meetings at World Economic Forum said that we would exercise all options to retain its sovereignty.

PM Khaqan Abbasi told that Pakistan faces serious challenges from its two neighbours, particularly India that has aggressive designs in the region.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Pakistan would work out all choices to retain its sovereignty, because it faces severe demanding situations from its two neighbours, in particular, India that has competitive designs.

Abbasi further told that his engagements at World Economic Forum 2018 will help to generate billions of dollars in business potentials in Pakistan. Pakistan has engaged the business leaders, company leaders in telecom, automotive technology and healthcare sectors at WEF.

Pakistan’s PM on the invitation of WEF founder Professor Klaus Schwab is participating in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) — being held in Davos, in eastern Switzerland, from January 23 to 26.

He used to be talking at conventional Pakistan Breakfast, being organized by means of Pathfinder Team at the sideline of the 48th Annual Global Financial Discussion board assembly happening at Davos which provide the opportunity once a year alternative to Pakistani policymakers to present their viewpoint to the arena.

He further said A nuclear India has competitive designs against Pakistan the rustic has the precise and accountability to counter that design.

While answering a question Abbasi said Consolidation of democracy in Pakistan is a positive indicator and all institutions should work hand in hand for development and stability of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Abbasi, on the occasion, condemned the continuous ceasefire violations by Indian forces across the Line of Control and said Pakistan is capable of responding to these violations in full force but did not initiate the nuclear arms race and its nuclear weapons are only for defensive purposes.

On the question of Pak US relations PM said despite what the tweets and the policy statements of the US say, Pakistan is fighting the war against terror with its own resources while countering the US President claim that Pakistan lied and cheated in return of $33 billion aid.

To a query, the premier said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would provide dividends for centuries to come in the shape of employment generation, industrial growth and connectivity.

The PM mentioned that the space between truth and the belief used to be massive and boards like Pakistan Breakfast can assist to bridge this hole. He thanked the organizers for placing Pakistan’s viewpoint ahead of the worldwide elites.
