The success of Haider reflects the determination of Bahria College Karsaz in the promotion of education in the country

Pakistani student Muhammad Haider Khan bags world’s highest marks and set made a new world record in Cambridge Mathematics examinations.

Muhammad Haider Khan is a student of Bahria College Karsaz has gained first position in Maths (Syllabus D) of the Cambridge examination, said Pakistan Navy’s spokesman.

In recognition of his achievement, Muhammad Haider Khan will soon receive the “Top in the World Award” from Cambridge for his extraordinary performance for a single subject in Mathematics (Syllabus D).

This award refers to the learners who have gained the highest marks in the world for a single subject. The award will be given by the Cambridge Institute.

Muhammad Haider Khan while talking to the news agency said his teachers guided him well due to which he achieved the remarkable score, adding that he had to give all his attention to his studies.

According to Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy in a press release that Pakistan Navy is active in the field of education, apart from performing the professional responsibilities and remarkable achievement speaks not only of the immense hard work of the student but also of the tireless efforts of faculty and management of Bahria College Karsaz.

Earlier in 2013 another Pakistani student, Haroon Tariq, has broken the current world record by securing a total of 47 As in his International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) O Level and A Level exams from the University of Cambridge International Examinations.

On January 19, three students of the space science department at the Institute of Space Technology (IST) in Islamabad received international acclaim for their research on super-massive black holes and galaxy collisions in space.

Pakistan has great potential in the fields of the STEM by presenting their performance with the passion for learning and to accomplish their goals and for this purpose, second Lahore Science Mela is going to held at Ali Institute of Education on 27th of January to explore the potential of Pakistani youth in science.
