Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany Dr Muhammad Faisal assumes charge in Berlin
Dr. Muhammad Faisal assumed charge as Pakistan’s newly appointed Ambassador to Germany.
In a ceremony held in Berlin, he presented his credentials to the President of Germany Frank Walter Steinmeier and conveyed the good wishes of the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The ceremony of diplomatic credentials was held at the official residency of German President known as Schloss Bellevue.
German President Steinmeier welcomed the Ambassador of Pakistan and assured his support in strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries.
Germany is Pakistan’s most significant trading partner in the Eurozone, and Pak-Germany relations play a vital in Pakistan’s economic development.
Dr. Faisal, who earlier served as the Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson, reached Germany last month but the ceremony was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Faisal has worked with the Foreign Service of Pakistan for more than 22 years.
