Commander Coast reiterates readiness to defend Pakistan’s coasts

Passing out parade of Pakistan Navy SEAL Course in Karachi. The parade, which comprised of officers and sailors completing their training, took place at PNS IQBAL.

Commander Coast Vice Admiral Fasial Rasul Lodhi was the chief guest at the ceremony.

Due to the novel coronavirus, the event was attended by a few guests.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Admiral Fasial Rasul Lodhi congratulated those who completed the course and hope that they will add more strength to the capabilities of Special Services Group (Navy). Lodhi emphasized that the force has been entrusted to safeguard the country’s Coastal Area from Sir Creek to Jiwani under the challenging security milieu. 

He further reiterated that Pakistan Navy Coastal Command is fully equipped for the challenges related to CPEC and no compromise will be left made when it comes to securing the maritime interests of Pakistan.

Later, the Chief Guest gave away prizes to position holders. The ‘Iron Man’ trophy for the overall best trainee of the course was awarded to Janbaz Asim Khan. Janbaz Osama and Janbaz Ehsan Ullah won the best endurance swimmer and best endurance runner trophies respectively.
