Islamabad United sealed a historic victory on Tuesday night by beating Quetta Gladiators to win the Pakistan Super League in Dubai.
PSL has been a massive success overall bringing together the best cricketers from Pakistan and abroad to present pure, passionate form of cricket.
The high spirits of foreign players such as Darren Sammy, Kevin Pietersen and enthusiasm of Sir Vivian Richards, Wasim Akram, Dean Jones added much passion, sportsman spirit and class in one cricket league – Pakistan Super League.
Sir Vivian Richards is the mentor of Quetta Gladiators while Moin Khan is the head coach of the team. Legendary Wasim Akram is cricket director of Islamabad United team while the head coach of the team is Australian cricketer Dean Jones. South African cricketer, Mickey Arthur, is the head coach of Karachi Kings. Lahore Qalandars also have a South African coach, Paddy Upton. Andy Flower is the mentor of Peshawar Zalmi team while Mohammad Akram is the head coach.
