Following the licenses granted by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), PIA will now start scheduling passenger flights to Guangzhou and Xian.

“After a change in the current standard operating procedure of CAAC, we have an option to start our schedule flights for Guangzhou and Xian also,” PIA Country Manager Qadir Bux Sangi said.

PIA has also applied for a grant of operating licence for Chengdu which is under approval process.
