Prime Minister Imran Khan met federal minister for science and technology Fawad Chaudhary and okayed the reparation of Pakistan’s first-ever drone policy. Drones are instrumental in many industries including security, urban planning and agriculture. A strong policy will help boost the industry and take agriculture and other industries using the technology towards modernization. It will also help boost the drone manufacturing industry in the country.
Fawad said the new policy would allow drone production. “Drone manufacturing industry will get a huge boost,” he said. “Import of sophisticated drones will also be allowed.”
