Pakistan Super League’s final will be held in Lahore as scheduled, the news was confirmed by Chairman Pakistan Super League Najam Sethion on Monday.

Chief Minister Pujnab Mr. Shahbaz Sharif gave the go-ahead to hold the final preparation in Lahore, the decision was taken after a high-level security meeting regarding Pakistan Super League Final security huddle.

Chairman Pakistan Super League Najam Sethi has said that the final of the second edition of PSL will be held in Lahore as per the aspirations of people of Pakistan.

“We have a clear message that we are a peaceful nation and will not be blackmailed by terrorists,” Sethi told media persons in Lahore.

“PSL final will be held in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and final preparations are ongoing at the venue.” Najam Sethi added.

PSL Chairman Najam Sethi, talking to media after the meeting, said that online tickets ranging Rs 500, Rs 4,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 12,000 will be put on sale from tomorrow, Tuesday 28th February,

“Eight security experts from all over the world including two members from ICC will come to watch PSL final in Lahore,” he added.

He further said that the PSL management would talk to foreign players of the finalists about their willingness to play the final in Lahore. March 3 will decide whether which players are coming as the final teams are not decided yet.

Chairman PSL Najam Sethi said that all the federal and provincial authorities are on same page.

PSL final, that was due to held in Lahore on March 5, was speculated after a wave of terrorism emerged in Lahore and other parts of country.
