Security beefed up around Supreme Court ahead of Panama verdict

Red Zone been restricted today, those having special cards would be allowed to enter SC premises

The foolproof security arrangement have been made for the upcoming Supreme Court Panama case final verdict, large number Rangers, police and personnel of Frontier Constabulary is deployed for security inside and outside Court.

The Supreme Court is delivering its judgement today on the Panama petitions filed by Imran Khan against Sharif family.

The Red Zone entry has been restricted a day ahead of the verdict. Those having special cards would be allowed to enter SC premises and the Red Zone today.

Keeping in view the whole scenario, more than 500 policemen along with Rangers and personnel of Frontier Constabulary would perform duties inside and outside the Supreme Court.

Under the strict security steps, other sensitive building been sealed out, particularly the Red Zone, parliament house and main secretariat of the government and large number of security personals have been deployed for the security assurance.

Inspector General of Punjab police has ordered fool-safe security across the province. Political workers will be allowed to celebrate peacefully; but, blockading the roads will not be permitted under any circumstances.

Political activists will not be allowed to enter Red Zone area. Ranger and Police would ensure that the political workers remain peaceful after the verdict.
