Serene Air begins its operation on the domestic routes in Pakistan

Serene Air joined Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has started their flights in seven domestic cities of Pakistan. Serene Air became fourth domestic commercial Airline of the country joining Pakistan International Airlines, Airblue and Shaheen Air.

The first ever Serene Air journey operated was ER-503 Boeing 737-800 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Islamabad for Karachi with Khalid Bashir, a retired Air Commodore and Chief Operating Officer (COO), present at the airport on the occasion.

In October 2016, Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) granted Air Service license to Serene Air. Serene Air inaugurated its flying operations from 29 January, 2017.

Serene Air, is seeking to make a strong entry in Airline world, Being the only Pakistan Airliner to own Boeing 737-800 next generation Airplanes is all set to start with a blast. However the new Airline have been granted license to operate only local flights in the country for coming two years.

Meanwhile, the new Airline has started operating with four Boeing 737-800s, two of them brand new aircraft and the remaining two to five year old.

The list of cities in which Serene Air would offer to fly includes Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad and Skardu flights will be started in March.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) Serene Air while responding to a question about the number of flights operating from major cities said that “three flights would operate on the Islamabad-Karachi-Islamabad route daily, while four flights in a week will be operated between Karachi and Peshawar and four between Karachi and Faisalabad”.

He added that experienced staff members and well-trained cabin crew have been inducted in the new airline.
