Raees marked the debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in Bollywood
Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan’s movies ‘Raees’ has topped Twitter in the most talked movie in 2017.
According to Twitter India’s annual ranking list, “Raees” was the most talked about Hindi film in 2017 based on the hashtag volume.
In the twitter list Salman Khan’s “Tiger Zinda Ha” obtaining the second position on Twitter top trending movies, while Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’, although faring poorly at the box office, secured the third position in the list.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees paved the way for the dhamakedar beginning of the year 2017. The film that clashed with Hrithik Roshan‘s ‘Kaabil’ managed to entertain the audience, the collection of this film was Rs 128 crore nett.
Rahul Dholakia, touches upon the way the alcohol industry crumbled and several illegal activities followed. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan made her debut in Bollywood with the film.
A lot of films tanked at the box office, and hardly a few managed to regain the production cost of the film. But amidst this, there were a few films that made it to 100 crore club.
Deepika Padukone’s ‘Padmavati’ was number four, followed by ‘Kaabil’, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Golmaal Again’, ‘Judwaa 2’ and ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
Moreover, Shah Rukh has also topped Twitter’s most talked about celebrity list. Among the ladies, Deepika has topped the list.
