Tens of UAE Troops Killed in Yemen Missile Attack, Fars Claims.

TEHRAN –vReports coming from Najran said tens of Emirati military troops deployed at a Saudi base have been killed in Yemen’s scud missile attacks on Tuesday.
Ibrahim al-Andi, an Ansarullah leader, told FNA that the popular forces hit the Saudi army base in the border area of Wadi al-Najran with several Scud missiles this afternoon. “Tens of Emirati troopers deployed there were killed in the popular forces’ attack on the base,” the leader told FNA minutes ago.
The revolutionary movement leader stressed that following the attack, the Yemeni popular forces raided the Saudi military base, and are now in control of the region.
“Fierce clashes between the Yemeni fighters and Saudi-led forces are now underway in other parts of the Saudi territories around Najran,” he continued.fars 2Yemeni fighters Monday night launched a missile attack on Saudi Arabia’s border areas in retaliation for the kingdom’s ongoing bombardment on their country, killing seven Saudi soldiers and two troopers from the UAE.
“Nine military men, including 7 Saudi soldiers and 2 Emirati troopers, were killed in the Ansarullah attack on Najran region,” an Ansarullah Leader Abu Taha al-Karim told FNA on Monday.
According to reports, the number of UAE casualties in the Saudi Arabia-Yemen war is on the increase everyday.
After Ansarullah’s major gains in the fight, Riyadh launched airstrikes against Yemen on March 26 without a UN mandate. Saudi Arabia aims to undermine the Ansarullah popular fighters and restore power to fugitive President Mansour Hadi, who is a staunch ally of Riyadh.
Despite Riyadh’s claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi warplanes are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.  The monarchy’s aerial bombardments have so far claimed the lives of at least 5,313 people, mostly women and children. – Fars News
