Uber, the world’s leading technology app that connects riders to drivers, has joined hands with Pakistan’s largest cancer hospital, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre to raise funds for the needy patients.
Uber has announced the campaign as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives this Ramazan. The aim of the CSR partnership is to raise funds for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) by utilizing Uber’s technology platform.
Uber will donate the complete payment for any ride taken using the promo code UBERLOVESSKMH to Shaukat Khanum.
For the first round of the campaign, the Uber team went to SKMH last Friday and distributed gifts among the children. Uber team members also spend the whole day with the kids, interacting and playing with them.
