To highlight women empowerment and their contribution for changing and reshaping the future, TEDx Women 2016 event as held in Lahore,  Pakistan’s cultural hub.

JS Bank sponsored “TEDx Lahore Women” held at a local university in Lahore. TEDx Lahore Women paved the way for forward-thinking individuals who seek to promote goodness and prosperity in our society and to reach out for the ones who are not aware of their capabilities.

The event inspired Pakistani women into challenging themselves and taking risks to achieve their goals.

In a collaborative effort by some exceptional female personalities such as Mahira Khan, Dr. Shagufta Feroz, Sara Zaman and many others, who contributed to challenge the backward and often detrimental status quo.

The main purpose of the event was to highlight women empowerment and their contribution for changing and reshaping the future. It revolves around the aspects of society and how it truly believes in progress of women in Pakistan.
