Humayun Saeed’s Television Comeback Serial Dillagi is on air now. Dillagi reunites Jawani Phir Nahin Ani trio of Nadeem Beyg, Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat

The much-hyped TV drama series Dillagi, starring Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat, is now on air. Fans can watch the drama every Saturday at 8:00 pm on ARY Digital.

The TV production by ARY Digital has been making news ever since it was first announced, primarily because it marks Humayun Saeed’s comeback on television after a break of four years. Fans of Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed have been waiting for the series ever since the teasing sneak peeks went on air.

Dillagi reunites director Nadeem Beyg, Six Sigma Plus Productions, ARY Digital and the on-screen pairing of Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat. The team has previously worked on Jawani Phir Nahin Ani, which went on to become the highest-grossing movie of Pakistan. The supporting cast of the serial includes Saba Hamid, Uzma Hassan and Mariam Ansari.

TV promos have so far revealed an intense relationship between Anmol [Mehwish Hayat] and Mohid [Humayun Saeed], while Humayun himself has stated that Dillagi is a very unconventional love story and the storyline is not some-thing that has been seen in Pakistan so far. The serial has been shot in Karachi and interior Sindh.

Mehwish Hayat will essay the role of a stubborn and headstrong girl by the name of Anmol. In an earlier interview, Mehwish Hayat had said Anmol was a ‘dream role’ for her.

Humayun Saeed’s character, on the other hand, is supposed to be a cool-minded individual who turns incredibly aggressive when it comes to his work or career.
