Pakistan cricket team have jumped to fourth place in the ICC T20I Team Rankings following their 3- 1 series win over West Indies.

Pakistan Cricket team started the series against the two-time reigning champion West Indies in sixth position with 113 points in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 International teams rating, while the West Indies began in fourth position on 116 points.

Pakistan won the first two T20Is before Evin Lewis smashed 91 to keep West Indies afloat with a seven-wicket win in the third match.

Last night in the fourth T20I of the series, Pakistan team got a modest target of 125, the opener Ahmad Shehzad and Baber Azam made a solid partnership, right handed opener Shehzad stroked his way to 53runs.

While earlier, Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan displayed admirable accuracy and discipline, both of them ended with two, two wickets.

Hasan Ali’s man-of-the-match performance guided Pakistan to a seven-wicket victory over the West Indies in the fourth and final T20 at the Queen’s Park Oval on Sunday.

Now on the latest ICC T20 table, New Zealand continue to rule the T20 format, followed by India at second place, while Pakistan is just one point behind third-ranked South Africa.

Pakistan have swapped places with the West Indies and are now ahead of England and Australia.

The two teams will now play three One-Day Internationals and three Tests. Pakistan Wicket Keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmad is leading National side in T20 and One Day International while for Test series Misbah Ul haQ will join National side as captain.
