Xiaomi partners with Smartlink to officially launch in Pakistan

Xiaomi, the fourth-largest smartphone maker in the world, is officially launching its product line in Pakistan

There is good news for Xiaomi fans in Pakistan! The leading Chinese company and world’s fourth biggest smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has finalized  it’s launching in Pakistan.

Xiaomi has partnered with Smartlink Technologies for the company’s official launch in Pakistan. The news was confirmed via an advertisement in national newspapers.

Xiaomi has been a favorite mobile phone brand of many in both the local and international market. It has already launched its smartphones internationally.

Xiaomi was supposed to launch in Pakistan in January but various issues including those with distribution partners have caused unexpected delays.

The new coming brand is known for its high quality products at affordable rates. In addition to smartphones, Eco products will also be launched which include Power banks, Mi VR, Mi Band 2 and Car Charger.

All the products and the mobile phones will be sold at competitive prices along with official warranty, according to sources.

Currently, PTA has approved Xiaomi Mi 5 and Xiaomi Mi Max, while there have been no updates about Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Note 4, Mi Max is 6.44 inches, Hexa-core with 3GB RAM, 64GB Storage, 16 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera, 4850 mAh battery and operates on Android OS. Mi 5 is 5.15 inches, Quad-core with 3GB RAM, 32/64 GB Storage, 16 MP rear camera, 4 MP front camera, 3000 mAh battery and operates on Android OS.

In 2016, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) banned Xiaomi services for selling smartphones illegally. In November 2016, Xiaomi got approval from PTA and a no objection certificate (NOC) to launch officially in Pakistan.
